first some facts about myself: I'm 35 years old. I finished my studies in business administration at the university of siegen with the main emphasis on 'marketing', 'production' and 'economic information science' after 10 semesters in october 1991 with a 'B' grade. My thesis was the research about and the development of a multimedia- informationsystem for a museum, which I could present on the biggest european computer-business-trade-fair CeBIT 1991 in Hanover.
Since 1992 I was responsible for a multimedia-project with time limited governmental promotion in the field of university marketing. This project was finished by the summer of 1995. Then I worked a year for AMIGA Technologies in electronic media and later product management. Their mother company ESCOM went into bankruptcy and almost took AMIGA Technologies with it. I resigned and went out for a new field of activity, which I have found as Informations Manager, responsible for the networked 'electronics' of a mid-sized industrial company. Two years later I took the chance to start a business of my own: a company for IT/Internet consulting.
I'm working with computers since 1981 and now I know a lot about »PCs« ranging from MS-DOS over Windows (3.x/95/98/NT) to OS/2 and the Macintosh, and not to forget the Amiga as well as UNIX in TCP/IP-, Novell- and LAN-Server-networking, internet-connectivity, data communications in general (Internet, SAMBA), type setting (TeX/LaTeX), multimedia and electronic image processing.
Also I gained a lot of experience as a trade-fair attendant working for computer enterprises and my university (CeBIT '91-'94, Systems, Photokina). Furthermore I held lectures in the computer business.
I acquired my command of foreign language among other opportunities during my two traineeships abroad (Hungary and Yugoslavia). So I would rate my english as very good, my french as good and my russian as well as my turkish as present but improvable.
I would be interested to hear from you if there is an adequate and vacant position to fill in your enterprise. Of course I will send you my complete application if needed.
Sincerely yours,
C. Guelicher
