Main Characters: Hatsumi NARITA Ryouki / Lyoki TACHIBANA

Hatsumi NARITA

Hatsumi is a second grade high school student (16-17 years old). She has a younger sister (Akane), a little brother (Hikaru) and an older brother (Shinogu). She and her family live in a company appartment building whose "queen" is Ryouki's mother, Tachibana-san. Hatsumi has always feared Ryouki because she remembers him being evil to her when they were little kids. Unfortunately, one day Ryouki catches her carrying a pregnancy test intended for Akane. In exchange for Ryouki not telling her mother (and thus supposedly making life a hell for them or evicting them), Hatsumi agrees to become his "slave." Hatsumi likes Azusa a lot, even though she ends up spending the better part of her life arguing with Ryouki... does all that banter and bitching mean something? Only the manga can tell... ;) She is: A little empty-headed or silly at times, she is sweet and has a big sense of loyalty towards her family. An average girl.

Ryouki / Lyoki TACHIBANA

Ryouki is the son of the "queen" of the company appartment buildings were Hatsumi and Azusa live. At the start he treats Hatsumi as his "slave" but even though he tries to think she is just an object to play with, his heart starts to say otherwise and Ryouki finds himself reacting in the weirdest ways when Hatsumi is concerned. He is high-handed, but for all his faults, at least he is straightforward and quite honest with his itentions, wherever they are for good or for bad. He attended the same school as Hatsumi and Azusa when they were little, but now attends a private school. He is supposedly a very good student. Ryouki is the direct katakana reading used for the kanji in his name, but the romanization of it seems to be Lyoki. I'm using Ryouki because it's easier for the reader.
