16 engage is a 2 tankoubon (collected volume) story by Miyasaka Kaho. In fact, it was her first hit in the bi-monthly (two times per month) shoujo manga magazine Sho-Comi, published by Shogakukan.
In 16 engage we find a more complex story about two teenagers (the title says it all ^^ ) who meet and fall in love just to discover that they are blood brothers! Or are they not? This question takes up the first volume. (Along with some problems between the heroine and her family)
In the second, Yuiko-chan and Takami's relationship is consolidated, however, two things manage to put it in danger: a new doctor who is obsesed with Yuiko and the shock that comes with the realization that she is pregnant.

Love conquers it all (and especially in the pages of the Sho-Comi), of course but... how? That's the interesting part of the story ;) Even though the plot may sound cheesy, the manga is, in fact, pretty dark.
